A group of actors recreate and reinterpret transcripts of interviews where a single question was posed: What Was Your First Love? The result is a study in the universality of how people talk about love, no matter who or what the object of their affection is: how they gradually reveal the inner details of it, how they come to terms with how it has changed them, and how they craft narratives around it to help make sense of their lives.
